Welcome to the second edition of the Cyber Personality of the Year Award recognizing professionals who demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in cybersecurity in Belgium.
The Award competition launched by the Cyber Security Coalition is a totally independent event whereby a multidisciplinary, impartial jury is able to make its decision on merit alone.
Why this Cyber Security Award?
It has never been more important to recognize excellence in the field of cyber security. Malicious attacks are on the rise and cybersecurity teams are constantly countering evolving threats. It is essential that we identify and celebrate the extraordinary achievements of the professionals who undertake this challenging work in the Belgian cyber security sector. The Award showcases the vast range of activities ongoing in Belgium to keep us safe in the virtual world. Winners and finalists are an inspiration to other individuals, who wish to work to protect others in the same manner.
We encourage all those, who are committed to progressing the Belgian cybersecurity industry, to apply.
Our jurors come from varied backgrounds across the three sectors and are some of the most well-regarded individuals within the industry. They will review all ten shortlisted applications, deciding the winner collectively at a judging day, held shortly before the award ceremony scheduled on October 7th.

Winner and finalists will be published on the Award website and the Coalition’s social media and celebrated during the Award ceremony hosted by VBO-FEB on October 7th. Minister Ludivine Dedonder (Belgian Defense) will hand over the trophy to the winner at the event.
