Brussels, July 2026 – The Cyber Security Coalition is proud to announce the fifth anniversary edition of BE-CYBER, Belgium’s flagship cybersecurity conference, taking place on 22 September 2026.
A milestone for Belgium’s Cyber Community
Since its launch, BE-CYBER has grown into the annual meeting place for cybersecurity practitioners, business leaders, policymakers, researchers and technology experts from across sectors. With more than 350 participants attending the previous edition, the event has established itself as a unique platform for sharing knowledge, fostering partnerships and strengthening Belgium’s cyber resilience.
This year’s edition is held under the theme “Cyber Renaissance – Where Trusted Collaboration Becomes Capability.” The concept reflects a pivotal moment for Europe and Belgium’s digital future. As geopolitical tensions rise and technological dependencies grow, cybersecurity is no longer merely a technical challenge. It has become a strategic choice about how societies collaborate, what they protect and which values they embed into their digital infrastructure.
Renaissance is not nostalgia. Renaissance is re-birth.
Under this theme, BE-CYBER 2026 explores how Europe – and Belgium at its heart – is forging a distinct digital path based on trust, transparency, resilience and the rule of law. The conference examines how trusted collaboration can be transformed into the capabilities needed to secure Europe’s digital future.
The programme is structured around four thematic tracks:
- The Foundations of Trust – Building Sovereign & Trustworthy Digital Infrastructure
- The United Shield – Growing Local Cyber Capability through Trusted Collaboration
- AI, Reimagined – From Innovation to Trust & Control
- Cyber Humanism – Putting People Back at the Centre of Security
Canada joins as a guest country
To mark this special anniversary edition, BE-CYBER will also welcome Canada as its Guest Country, bringing insights from one of the world’s most dynamic cybersecurity and innovation ecosystems and creating new opportunities for international exchange and collaboration.
A highlight of the programme will be the closing keynote by Julia Janssen, internationally recognised AI strategist, entrepreneur and author. Her visionary perspective on the evolving relationship between people, artificial intelligence and trust will provide a fitting conclusion to a day dedicated to the future of cybersecurity.
The conference programme combines international keynote speakers, expert panels, practical use cases, networking opportunities and cross-sector collaboration, providing attendees with valuable insights into the evolving cyber landscape.
Why BE-CYBER 2026 matters
