25 Years of Cyber Justice

On 27 November 2025, we invite you to join us in Brussels for a special day marking the 25th anniversary of Belgium’s foundational law on information crime. This milestone offers a unique opportunity to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come in the fight against cybercrime, and to look ahead at the challenges and possibilities that lie before us.
Hosted at the BNP Paribas Fortis Auditorium and organised by the Cyber Security Coalition and IGO-IFJ, the event will bring together voices from across the justice system, academia, law enforcement, and the private sector. Together, we will explore how cybercrime enforcement has evolved over the past quarter century, examine the legal and ethical dilemmas posed by emerging technologies, and consider how to build trust and cooperation across borders and sectors.
The programme will include keynotes, roundtables, and discussions on topics such as privacy and law enforcement in the digital age, the impact of artificial intelligence on cybercrime, and the human factor in cyber investigations. It will be a day of insight, exchange, and forward thinking—culminating in a networking reception to celebrate the community that has shaped cyber justice in Belgium and beyond.
