The Cyber Attacker – Putting the Attacker Back into the Human Equation

Wim Hardyns is a Full Professor in Criminology at the Department of Criminology, Criminal Law and Social Law at Ghent University, and in Security Sciences at the University of Antwerp. He is the Director of the Big Data Policing (BIGDATPOL) research group, and leads a dynamic and rapidly growing research team of pre- and post-doctoral researchers in the field of big data, AI and security. His extensive research has produced numerous projects, high-impact publications in prestigious journals, and ongoing PhDs in this emerging criminology field.
